Mass Protest Against Healthcare Privatization, Queen’s Park, Toronto

The Ford government is moving forward now with contracts to privatize our public hospitals’ core services, close essential local public hospital services like emergency departments and urgent care centres, privatize primary care clinics, allow online doctors to charge patients for access to services, privatize long-term care for the next 30-years.
It is imperative that we build a show of strength– of mass public opposition — to the Ford government’s attempts to privatize our health care. Everything you can do to help now matters.

DRYDEN outside MPP Greg Rickford’s office, 439 Government St. at 11:30 a.m. CST (Dryden time)

ALGOMA outside the Sault Area Hospital at Lukenda Drive at 12 Noon

Everyone from southern Ontario is asked to come to the giant protest at the Legislature for its opening day. For those too far to travel in, in Northern Ontario, we have organized local protests listed above.
